Le Professeur Annabel Maruani est dermatologue, professeure des universités et praticienne hospitalière au CHRU de Tours, où elle dirige l’unité de dermatologie pédiatrique. Elle est coordinatrice du centre de référence MAGEC-Tours (malformations vasculaires et lymphatiques) et est membre de l’unité Inserm UMR 1246 (SPHERE).
Ses travaux portent prioritairement sur les anomalies vasculaires et la dermatologie pédiatrique, avec un intérêt particulier pour les approches thérapeutiques innovantes et la recherche centrée sur le patient, avec le développement notamment d’une échelle d’acceptation des maladies affichantes (MARKS). Elle est co-auteur de plus de 300 publications scientifiques et coordonne plusieurs études observationnelles et essais randomisés en dermatologie. Elle a été membre du jury du PHRC-interrégional Grand-Ouest et du PHRC-National, et a occupé la fonction de présidente de la Société Française de Dermatologie Pédiatrique de 2023 à 2026. Elle est actuellement rédactrice de section pour la dermatologie pédiatrique au JEADV.

Professor Annabel Maruani is a dermatologist and full professor at Tours University Hospital, where she heads the pediatric dermatology unit. She is the head of the MAGEC-Tours reference center for vascular and lymphatic malformations and of the Inserm UMR 1246 research unit (SPHERE).
Her research focuses on vascular anomalies and pediatric dermatology, with a particular interest in innovative therapies and patient-centered outcomes, notably through the development of a scale assessing the acceptance of visible skin diseases (MARKS). She is a co-author of more than 300 scientific publications and coordinates several observational studies and randomized clinical trials in dermatology. She has served as a member of the Grand Ouest Interregional PHRC and National PHRC review committees, and was President of the French Society of Pediatric Dermatology from 2023 to 2026. She is currently the Section Editor for Pediatric Dermatology at JEADV.
